Were Hinata to answer this, he would say Kageyama is emotionallydisabled but we all know he’s making large strides in overcoming that issue.However, when he was in elementary school he suffered a bad ankle break afterlanding wrong while practicing in his backyard, which made him terrified thathe wouldn’t be strong enough to play volleyball. While at the doctor’s officeour young blueberry quite desperately clutched his coat and asked, “How do Imake my bones stronger?!” Startled, the doctor stammered out that he’d need tomake sure to consume a proper amount of calcium. Hence, Kageyama’s love of milk(and really any dairy products) was born. When Karasuno makes it to Nationals,he sends a thank you note to the doctor’s office for his advice.

This boy eats, drinks, breathes and lives volleyball, so there’sno doubt it’s the first thing he thinks about before falling asleep, whiledreaming and the first thing he thinks of when he wakes up. His mind is alwaysgoing on it, running setting scenarios in his head, obsessing over timing, howcan he get better? If anything else makes it into his brain it’s quicklyconsumed by all his thoughts of volleyball. No wonder the boy poor struggles inschool!
#49: Is this person were to get into a fist fight, what is theirfighting style like?
Unfortunately we’ve witness Kageyama’s fighting with Hinata, but that wasmore of shouting/shoving match. If someone were to really come at him, I think he would hesitate to hit them due toconcern of hurting his hands. His hands are very important and while, yes, hehas other talent on the court, he’s the primary setter. He knows Suga canhandle stepping in but he “won’t lose” to him and damaging his hands in onestep in that direction. So I think he would dodge, maybe try to subdue themanother way or (secretly) hope that one of the second or third years happen by(since they’re pretty much always together in some capacity) to give him aliteral hand; preferably Noya because the boy may be short but he knows how tofight.
