DIY POTTING TABLE WIP
by kimartist
So I salvaged the sink countertop from my remodel & decided to make my own potting table rather than buy an overpriced one.
These are my starting materials:
Salvaged sink countertop (free)
Bushel-sized bucket ($16.00)
4 salvaged table legs ($40.00)
Still need to get some wood patch to fill in the torn vinyl (I guess that's the best solution?), spray paint & screws for the legs.
The legs were kind of pricey, but the good news is I can use them for something else when the particleboard countertop finally falls apart (& you know it will).
The bushel bucket is a lot deeper than what you usually see for a potting table, but I think it's going to be perfect for me, since I'm typically working on filling quite large container garden pots - not tiny little houseplants!
25.4.20.Finally opened my last Christmas present and put it together.
And put it to good use potting seeds to attract pollinators.
Weeks of work finally over! I made a potting table for my mom for her birthday, got a bit of help, but the sanding and painting is all me... My dad helped cut off the unnecessary parts and put it together as it was a two person job.
I'm gonna rest now...
