Their Italian villa had already been prepped for their arrival, an impromptu nursery set up in one of the five bedrooms in preparation for the twins‘ arrival. They had a few weeks to relax, take in the sights and tranquillity of the historic town. Rustic buildings and cobbled streets, Saluzzo was a sleepy little town, far from the bustle of tourists one might expect from Pisa or Rome. Tony allowed them a day or two to recover from the long flight, unpack, get settled before they would visit his grandmother, and he was most excited about that. “Ci vediamo presto la nonna. Ti amo.“ The words spoken into the phone just before he hung up, then his attention turns to his bella donna, sneaking in behind her and wrapping his arms around her to rest his hands on her stomach and pressed kisses against the base of her neck, “Nonna is so excited we’re here. I think we’ll have to starve ourselves for the welcome buffet she’s planning. She wanted to know all your dietary requirements.”
