exactly and if you listen to Sherlock’s dialogue there you can hear him trying to tell John that when John blurts out he cheated on Mary.
YES! That was the other point I forgot to make, thank you. Sherlock is about to say how John is one of the best people, if not the best person, he knows. Sherlock thinks of John just as Mary did.
