The Real Techniques Powder Bleu Collection ~ Based off of the idea of a squirrel, these brushes are luxuriously soft and blend out powders really well. Visibly they look beautiful; however, the handles make your fingerprints show up quite prominently, this makes them hard to clean. However, overall these brushes are amazing as they do their job really well - blending out powders with precision and a good finish - while looking good. #powderbleu #complimentary @realtechniques @influensteruk I received these products complimentary for Real Techniques 😜

The new Real Techniques PowderBleu Collection is so sexy and luxe 💙✨ As I said on my previous post in regards to the Kabuki, they are named very aptly because they are incredibly soft! I have many if not most of all their other brushes from both the OG as well as the Bold Metals collection, and they are all very soft but somehow these manage to be even more so. The weight and feel of them is reminiscent to that of the brushes from the Bold Metals collection, but the bristles feature the company’s new trademarked FauxBleu Technology which aims to imitate the soft furry coat of blue squirrels 😯 The Soft Powder Brush is great for applying setting powder all over your face, and since it has a tapered head it also applies and blends bronzer beautifully! The Soft Complexion Brush has a nice density which makes it ideal for buffing on powder foundation, it gives such a pretty finish! If you like the RT Buffing Brush I think you will like this one too, possibly more 😁 Last but not least is the Soft Shadow Brush, I absolutely love this type of eye brush, it is an absolute must! It fits right in the crease of the eyelid and its tapered head allows it to apply the shadow with precision while blending it. When I heard about the collection I wondered what made these brushes so optimal for applying powder, and upon using them I realized that what makes them ideal for it is that the bristles pick up the product with ease and transfer most of it to your skin, which means that you also have to use less product… at least that has been my experience with them.
