Hello slime rancher people can someone please give me a hint on accessing Powderfall Bluffs?

I've been looking for a few hours and found some things but haven't quite gotten it yet. I don't wanna be straight up told how to get there, but here's what I've found so far and I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me if I'm on the right track

Excuse the shitty image quality but I've found this place, that appears to be an inactive warp. Seeing and I don't believe this was here before today's update, I'm pretty sure this is how you get to Powderfall.

I can't figure out how to activate it though. Right now I'm thinking that there *isn't* one of those activation buttons like for the initial Starlight Stand and Ember Valley portals. However, this leaves me at a loss. There's no gordo, so obviously I'm missing something. I've already waited around through a full day/night cycle to see if it's time related, and tried throwing some slimes and radiant ore around and seeing if there were any plort statues or gates nearby, and I even tried bringing a tarr to it for some reason? I don't know. My logic here is non-existent at this point. I've been stuck on this problem for a good couple hours. Right now I'm thinking it could be treasure pod related? But I really don't want to deal with tracking down the final pod for this region right now. Also, I'm wondering if this portal is even something that can be activated from here? Is there another one in the valley somewhere?

Again, please don't give me any straight answers here. I'm just stuck and I could use a hint to help push me in the right direction
