The thing abt being aroace is it's really fun and chill and awesome and I LOVE that I don't have to concern myself with dating all the annoying stuff that comes with looking for a partner (dating apps, testing-the-water dates, etc). It does however make me realize I'm still a human who desires some physical contact and that's really annoying to be reminded of. Like being physically lonely but not emotionally lonely is really funny and sucks bc I'm like. I don't particularly want more friends yet there's an extremely low number of ones I'd want to be more affectionate with. And then further I know none of them want that w me anyway. So like... 🤷 Guess I'll continue to suffer a little sometimes.
