After resolving the copyright issues, Powerbang is having to deal more issues with his YouTube account.
YouTube sounds like they are doing a shitty job with this because they have not followed up with him at all.
How LightsOut has helped to build the sport.
Lightsout success is a big deal. Just looking at the numbers Powerbang has following him on YouTube is amazing. This is good for the community and if not for PB and his troop we would not have as vibrant of a fan base built this fast. I know that PB was the first youtuber that I watched when I picked up the game. People have mixed feelings for his gameplay and preferences. I have played a grip full of games myself and I don't agree with all his opinions. That aside I must say that what he has done has been good for the Pubgmobile community. Some of the best players have carried the LO banner at one time. His group has been a hotbed for the development of the game. LO has given other teams a competitor and helped their fan base grow as well. The success of LO is directly related to the success of the game as well. We see several good rivalries develop and grow in tournaments. If not for the exposure of the LO comp team and their streamers we would be a much smaller community. Now we have Wickedgaming joining the team and his fan base, that is a huge deal as well. If you love Lightsout or think that they are overrated and fallen from the top we half to seen the good they have done. This is why I think it is important to see a successful Comp team that does well. I hope to see LO at the top in the final circles battling out against C9, RK, G25, UR, SoM and other teams that have obtained top players. Zootay needs to put a team together soon get them, smooth operating. We are seeing some top talent and a some pro teams develop. I must admit as one side note the fact that PB and his band of teammates have set up streaming. He has been able to support his guys, they have built a following and source of income. I just hope that they focus on refining there comp team and don't get sucked into the stream life. It can hard to switch from entertainment to a comp mindsets. Running comp scenarios is often not as exciting and can be dull as your not going to hunt players down. We don't see high numbers of highly successful pro PC players with a large stream following they often will not stream practice sessions and choose to focus on one or the other. I'm not saying you can't do both its possible I'm sure. I just know it takes a large amount of dedication to be a pro player and just as much to be a streamer. This is my only concern with the LO roster as I see them building their streams. I hope there comp roster is allocating time for practice to run scenarios. We need good rivalries and lightsout has the roster to be one. It just remains to be seen how they perform in tournaments as we have more people hungry for the exposure and prizes.
Sidrocplays
The Clan/Crew turnout.
Ok so right now we have so much going on in the game it can be hectic to figure things out. But I'm going to propose some things to smooth out the logistical challenges we face as a community. First off as the popularity of a clan rises people tend to flock to join them. Thinking I will be able to compete! I'm really good? Right now as things are going with wicked gaming turnamants only one comp team from each clan is allowed into tournament season. Often this is the clans pushing for only there top players to be in the comp team. Only those on the roster of the comp team can compete. Ok good and well people can start there own clan and make a comp team. Not as easy as you would think. Most of the talent want to go to the top teams thinking they will be next on the roster if the comp teams roster is upset. Well sorry to say it's a big mess. People want an easy path to fame and working on your own is not easy. Along comes crews, at first i was against yet another additional button on my HUD. But here is where I was wrong. This is the next step in the organization. Clans have members that can then form into crews. Those crews can then sign up for turnamants and compete. I'm not sure if this is what LH Douyu & GT Douyu where but the similar names make me think so. This is very similar to the Gen.G Gold & Gen.G Black that competed in the global invitational. We saw something similar in the playoffs with LØ having two teams one with the clan name and one as TG those guys, and Rollexx was on TeamGates. We could have had LØ.thoseguys and regular LØ. Why not. LØ.Black, C9.blood any number of teams can hold there clan tag and play as a crew. We had two of the blacklist teams and even thought they didn't to the best the casters could tell them apart. With a bracket playoff system any number of teams, from every organization could submit crews and challenge the top competition. This would then foster talent, making the clans and crews a valuable resource. You need more exposure to regular players to build there experience. Joining LØ would not just mean your part of an organization but would me if you got on a crew you would compete under the clan tag. Recognized clans would then have the power to upload there logo for there crew, making things easier to recognize them and the clans success. I hope to see several crews form clans competing in turnamants. That way talent can be seen not just stuffed into the roster of a clan and kept from competing. This is my take on it pubg mobile can facilitate some things we could have some interesting results. Let me know what you think and we will see what happens.
Here is a simple bracket set up that I think would work for pubgmobile. Now for a simple breakdown of how I think this would work. First we would need to open up matches for multiple teams from larger organizations like #LØ, #Blacklist, #InsainNation, #cloud9 and any teams that would like to compete.
Day1 through day4 could be played on Sanhok 4 matches would be fast and fun. This would keep the game time short around 80 min of gameplay. Longer with getting all the players into the lobby. Each day we would only allow one team to represent a organization. A team LØ could have 4 teams enter one for each day. At least until we have a enough teams that want to play. 4 days that is 80 teams or 320 players... this opens it up to anyone in the public wanting to play or make a tournament team.
Day5 & 6 would be to sort the bottom 10 teams of days 1- 4 (top 10 teams from these matches would move to the lower brackets A&B.) For these games they could play Erangal 4 matches
Day7 & 8 would be much the same as day 5&6 this would sort out the upper brackets. Here the top 10 teams from each day would move to the upper bracket. The teams that are the best should find there way into the upper bracket. The bottom teams left over will move to brackets A&B
Now we have three brackets, one with the top teams that played well. Bracket A and B full of teams ready for the comeback. For these matches I think a three and three will work best. Three Mirimar and three Erangel. Each bracket would play one day, on a weekend. Top bracket would get there choice of day they would like to play.
Now we are into how we move to the playoffs. The top bracket advances the top 10 teams to the upper playoff bracket and the bottom ten from the top bracket will move to the bottom playoff bracket. The top teams from bracket A will move to the upper playoff bracket. The top teams from bracket B will move to the lower playoff bracket. I feel with some adjustments this would make for interesting and exciting gameplay and worth watching
We need a more fluid game and the ability for players to make a team and make a run for the playoffs. I think with this kind of format we would expand the amount of skilled players and develop a stronger meta.
Days dont need to be consecutive and the upper and lower brackets could be split between two streamers. Wicked could take day 1&2 and The7Wrold others. I think that this is something we could adjust the brackets to build a better playoff. Need to get this into the community and build a better pubg pro scene. I think this would promote the pro scene and keep the pro players with new teams and fresh ideas.
I look forward to ideas and what we can do to build a strong competitive environment.
That's All.
