I just want to pick up something heavy!
The deadlift is one of my favorite lifts... there is something about getting that weight off the ground that is just empowering. Recently I have been focusing on my form. Not my choice, my trainer's choice.. and a good one. I can lift heavy but tend to roll my shoulders forward and my back rounds a smidge... not good! Got to keep my booty out and my shoulders back!
But, with this 'perfect form' I can't pull the same weight off the ground. Even though my lack of perfect form technically wouldn't be a bad lift in a meet... I know it will lead to an injury some day. I know I just have to keep working at my form and know that hopefully, eventually, I will be back to lifting the weight I was before... but damn it... I just want to pick up something heavy!
