Robot Review: PP3D (S09E02)
PP3D come back into Robot Wars looking more fierce, more powerful and more frightening than ever. The 8th Wars saw PP3D come up against tough opposition in the supposed heat of death, and ultimately crash out in the Head to Head stage after defeats to Apollo and Storm 2. However, the robot showed promise, and so they’re back again looking to go even further, and cause even more destruction.…

Robot Wars S09E02 Part 3: In-Flight Entertainment
Things are shaping up nicely as week 2 of Robot Wars the 9th wars comes to a climax. Eruption have so far blown away the competition- figuratively and literally- to take a commanding 6 points from 2 battles and cement their position at the top of the table. Whatever happens in the final head to head, they will be going through to the heat final. On the other side of the spectrum, PP3D has become…

Robot Wars S09E02 Part 2: Lights. Camera. FIREWORKS!
Robot Wars S09E02 Part 2: Lights. Camera. FIREWORKS!
So we know our 4: PP3D, Cherub, Eruption and Behemoth. Cherub are perhaps the most surprising name on the list, but the ingeniously designed robot did what Push To Exit and Lord Draven failed to do, and that’s stand up to PP3D’s ridiculously powerful disc. So they’re here on merit, no doubt about that. However, the head to heads are a different matter for all concerned. One on one 3 fights in a…

Great show tonight, Eruption did a fantastic job with that flipper. PP3D definitely should have been given the fight against Cherub though, they absolutely dominated and I really don't understand the judges decision.
PP3D, I honestly didn’t think much about this bot, but I find it interesting that a bot like this was made with 3D printing. Only weakness, which they still have from what I see, is exposed tires. Bad idea if your up against a spinner like Carbide that would rip them to shreds.

Robot Review: PP3D (S08E04)
When I first saw PP3D, I had a feeling they could well have been one of the robots to watch. PP3D falls into the category of what I call ‘Experimental Kit’, a category which also includes the likes of Carbide and Pulsar. Because PP3D was very much that- experimental kit, containing several 3D printed components (We have a 3D printer in our 3rd year Physics lab, it’s awesome). Still,, housing a…
