INSTEAD OF ANOTHER TEASER WE JUST GOT WELCOMED TO THE GALAXY BY GALAXY_FANFAN
Valentines Day
To me, Valentines day is odd.
Its an odd day.
A commercially odd day celebrating 'Love'
Its the kind of 'holiday' that you take with a pinch of salt, like pancake day and may day I guess.
I've never liked the idea of it. Gaudy, cheap and frankly humongous cards, bears and chocolate boxes line the high street and its a day where you're supposed to tell or reillustrate to someone that you love them.
I've always kind of avoided it, I wasn't bothered. Yes on occasion I would feel slightly down that a tall, dark stranger hadn't given me a bouquet of beautiful flowers (does it always have to be roses?!?) but you just move on.
This year I have someone to cares about me, someone who I care deeply about also. Yet this holiday is bugging me. I feel like I shouldn't be bothered by it, but...its hard to avoid I guess.
I'd prefer to sleep the day out and just carry on as usual, I don't need a holiday to encourage me to re-illustrate how I feel about someone, because it feels forced. It feels silly and material.
What I'm trying to say is, I am highly amused by the valentines day cards on Tumblr, I am delighted that other people are in Venice and Paris this weekend. I am hoping that some happy people will get engaged and continue to be happy.
I don't personally need this holiday. But flowers would be nice.
Bitches love flowers.
[text] Maybe a half... [text] Or quarter.
[text] How about I give you a full one to yourself. [text] Just slide it into your mouth…
One day I'll make one of those pointless text post that get thousands of notes for no real reason.
I miss Karkat...........................

Jafar and Jasmine
Jasmine huffed a stray lock out of her face. She had been pouring over laws and treaties it seemed all day. At this time she was trying to resolve a supposed breach of a contract between neighboring Zagrazan’s silk traders and Agrabah’s grain trade. Zagrazan claimed it had not been receiving the correct amount of grain for their silks, though the palace records indicated otherwise.
Jasmine had spent all morning looking through ledgers, calculating and re-calculating numbers. Something was wrong and she couldn’t quite figure it out. The amount of silk they had been importing either didn’t add up correctly or they were seriously running short on grain. Where is that damn scroll? Jasmine’s frustration was growing. She needed to find the ledger that had the records from the farmers from the past year. She searched around the study but could not find it. She hated to admit it, but there was one place she hadn’t checked.
Maybe Jafar has it….
In an odd occurrence, Jafar has completed with the assignments on his plate early today. It felt fulfilling. Perhaps he could finally tend to some of those tasks that he was repeatedly pushing down on his to do list. The Sultan was out and about with Aladdin and that left only one annoying royal within the palace walls. It being so big, Jafar felt fortunate that they would rarely cross paths anymore. Most of his days were spent only advising the Sultan, after all. The work on his plate was somehow getting lighter, and of course he only had the two royal love birds to blame.
After rearranging some of his own paperwork within the office of his quarters, Jafar was preparing to leave for the day. Closing the door carefully behind him, he set down the hallway. That was, until he saw a blur of sea blue bouncing off the walls. Oh Allah, what did she want? Putting on his best face, Jafar bowed as he always did in front of the royal. “Ah, Princess. To what do I owe the pleasure?”
Jasmine bowed her head in response, "Jafar, I...I was wondering if you could help me locate a certain ledger?" After everything that preceded her and Aladdin's engagement, she was still wary around the vizier, but had to respect her father's decision to let him return to work in the palace.
"I've been trying to sort of a situation with Zagrazan and I need our records from the grain farmers from this past harvest...you wouldn't happen to have it?" She felt a little defeated having to ask him for help, but with her father and Aladdin out, she didn't have much choice. And, well, he was the royal advisor after all. Surely he could help her resolve the matter.
