Quick Poppy Playtime Sketches
Mainly me trying to figure out their styles. And yes I colored it too very messy and very simple.
Now, when I first started drawing these characters, I was very intimidated because I’m used to drawing human characters for the most part.
And then I remembered that these were sketches and the point was for me to learn about drawing the characters and get some practice with drawing them. Are they 100% accurate? No, especially not catbee I have no idea what I was doing with the design but you know what? That was the only character that I just refused to look up a reference for. For some reason.
But I did have fun drawing this round of sketches. No real reason for the characters chosen, just random stuff that could fit onto the page!
I could have pushed Mommy Long Legs’ pose a little more and catnap’s smile, but for starting out? They came out alright I guess. Not satisfied with hair on Mommy Long Legs (for some reason SHE’S THE ONE I HAVE PROBLEMS DRAWING-) but again, practice sketches so I’m gonna let it go.
