Continuing a little project I was working on two years ago via looking at the credits of Persona games and archiving the people involved. And tbh....P3P’s always makes me laugh cause it’s pretty much this. (tbh it kinda applies to PQ1 too, but she had more roles in P3P)

Top 5 persona songs

Will it all be P3 songs? ...maybe. ...okay, so this list is all P3 based songs... Sorry? ...okay, this is really hard, because part way through I remembered the PQ games, and that music all rocks. Not only that, just make this all Lotus Juice? Maybe a lot of Lotus Juice. Ahhhh. (Wow, I guess I didn’t enjoy the P5 music as I used to...)

キミの記憶 (Kimi no Kioku/“Memories of You”): Considering the name of this blog, I think the top two songs would be obvious, but this one won over Burn My Dread for a few reasons. One of them is that my mom recognizes this song when it gets played because I had her watch a bit of a Persona Bomb concert earlier this year, and she decided to remember that one. Plus, this song is like all the hurty, P3 feels. I love it so much.

Burn My Dread: There’s absolutely no reason a favorite songs list from Persona should not have this song on it. I mean, unless they haven’t played P3 and haven’t heard it. It’s soooo good. It gives me so many feels, but more fight-y feels than キミの記憶 does. I was so happy I was able to make this tumblr have combination of both of these songs.

Battle Hymn of the Soul: ...what do you mean I have a P3 bias? I know not what you say. I blame this one all on P3D. Because yes, this is a hella strong song, but then they made a remix of it for Shinji’s dance. I was gone. I used it as a name for an important P3 fic I started, that maybe I’ll finish someday...

Our Moment: Aha! Not P3! ...just P3D. Look, this song gives me nostalgia for a game I only played for the first time last year? Like wow, the nostalgia it must give to the people that played back when it came out. Not only that, I’m hanging on to the hope that this song and the whole P3D game in general is proof Atlus wants to make a P3 Remake.

Light the Fire Up in the Night: What, more Lotus Juice? What, no, what are talking about... I may not have finished PQ1 because it’s terribly unbalanced (PQ2 figured that, and it was perfect ahhh), but I really love the battle theme. ...but also the version Akihiko dances to is pretty awesome in P3D. Get pumped up!

So, my list has P3-P5 characters, a bit of P2 from what I played, and all the dancing and Q games? Wheeee…

SO, it ended up as… Akihiko Sanada/Zen. This sounds adorable, and I’m for it. Thanks, RNG! (Also, some PQ1 spoilers on the way, so… Yeah. Oh, P3 ones as well!)

These two are big on protecting those close to them. I could see them getting close in the Labyrinth and leading to training sessions to help Zen keep Rei safe. Make outs happen during training sessions in hot sauna like mazes, right? XD

Or maybe an AU with Akihiko’s little sister Miki and Rei as Zen’s little sister in this AU… They’re bffs, so they’re big bros hang out because watching them. I’m totally on board with tough but soft big bros.

Still on that last AU, little sisters Miki and Rei totally being the mini wingmen because while Akihiko and Zen can be smart…they’re hella stupid sometimes, and Miki and Rei are tired of it.

Well, we had a sweet AU head canon, so time for the sad one. If I remember correctly, Zen is Chronos, and his roll is as a grim reaper. Maybe Akihiko has been able to see him during his life…since there have been quite a few people close to him that have died like Miki, Shinji, and Minato…

Also in this grim reaper AU, eventually, Akihiko starts chasing after Zen, who doesn’t understand how this mortal can see him, and it just…they’re intrigued by each other, even though Akihiko’s hella pissed. It evolves as Zen breaks rules for Akihiko to see his deceased family and friends. Dunno where it goes past that, but it seems interesting.
