Let’s actually go into a bit of CotL analysis here. Still linked to the Homestuck universe and its themes.

Okay here's my comprehension of it:

It's an elite group that want to gather knowledge (and keep it possessively) from the "regular" wizards.

They share this knowledge by bits periodically to their apprentices.

But it's this very system and knowledge that will lead them to their own doom.

Ruin is bond to Doom and Time. Like how Aradia found the Ruins and work on the glyphs with Sollux's help. But maybe I'm going astray there.

HOLY SHIT THERE'S NEW CONTENT! I don't remember that part! Let's read and analyse it.

Zazzerpan knew he would face his apprentice again. And there's the chessboard symbolism, duality, confrontation of two opposites poles, yet complimentary. Ying and yang, space and time, and…

…light and void. Known informations versus mysteries shrouded in darkness.

Calmasis is now empty, full with obscure magic I suppose. As Light is bound to Skaia, Void is linked to the Noble Circle of the Horror Terrors.

Damn it's a small tidbit but I'm so into it! They are here to reclaim something… but what? Recognition? The title of best wizard perhaps? Like with the all powerful wand? [Next =>]

Pesterquest -Rose’s path, good end :)

AWW HELL YESSS! We did something good! I dunno about the big picture implications, but if it changed something in Rose, then we're on the right path to help our friends being better persons, and even kinder to themselves :))

Uhhh, so instead of creating, we prevented something? I'm lost. Haha maybe it doesn't need to make sense right now :)

When HS people says that, it's usually reeeeally important, but for now we can't worry about it. We did it folks, I have a good feeling we helped and befriend Rose!

Pesterquest - Go ZAP yourself end

Rose’s bad end. Advice to befriend her: don’t stay in her room and address sensitive subjects only if she’s willing to. 

Ok…ay, suddenly bad end? Damn all this work to naught. I'm sad and confused.

We met Mom Lalonde and the cat, but we got the wrong end. Uh, so little choices but more narration and content.

Pesterquest -Taking a gander at Rose’s room while staying put

Rose needs to collect herself and put dry clothes on, while we are observing and commenting about her room.

I knew Rose's room was messy, but coffee? What?!! Hello?? 13 years old girl!!?

Oh. Do you have nervousness? ADD, or even ADHD Rose? I understand if you do. It's hard for me to focus on one thing for a long time, or I even end up focusing too long on it.

Ummm that's not really a good comparison but okay?

Even though they are just drawn shapes in purpose of the vagueness, I like her posters. And we're officially April, 13th 2009 again!

Maybe it's not important for you, but it's really important for us. 

Furthermore, you're time/space travelling, memorizing dates are a good if not a necessary asset during your jumps. Mark down the date MSPA reader, it'll come in handy.

Pesterquest -Conversation between GG and Rose that we are reading despite ourselves

Okay, so:

Our "cardboard cutout" character is really weird shaped, at least they are uncommon.

Becquerel, whom is omnipotent, has sense something and it's bothering him. Perhaps our jumpy powers.

GG talked to John today. But for reasons the fans would know, she couldn't correspond much with John this day. If i'm correct, she should be more busy or asleep at the moment. Something changed that. I have theories but it include future events, close ones and volumes that may be waaaay further in time, our time.

I was afraid of that too, but thankfully they are just placing it somewhere else. I love GG's answer is just "oh!"

Yeah, that would be logical. But a 20 minutes drive should dissuade a ~ 30 years old drunk lady.

They don't… OHHHH she's just appearifying the booze. That makes sense! Yikes, she doesn't even need to leave the house to get it.

And back where we started to spy her in the conversation. They've got to meet with their alternate self, there's no way around it in this situation. Unless they zap themselves to avoid that.

Yeah that's what I said :) Maybe there is other differences? (counterpart is a nice term for the class pairs).

Maybe some will find it annoying, but I so glad to be on point, just feeling and predict the atmosphere along with the references to Homestuck recurrent themes.
