The Saga of Alejandra/Sebastian - Part 9: What Was the Point?
So the biggest question that we’ve ALL been wondering and asking has been “What was the point?” Why were they doing all this PR fakery nonsense since last year? Well readers, we here at Badfauxmance had been asking that very same question, which led us to starting this blog in the first place. And here’s what we’ve more or less come up with after reflecting on this matter for 10 months now. This was a big reason why I put off doing this particular part as long as possible. It’s a lot of things to think about. A lot of things happened to take into consideration before I could write this.
So before I continue, please note that this is going to be mostly serious though I’ll be throwing in sarcasm where suitable. Also I should put out this basic disclaimer. Some of the things I will bring up are more speculation on my part based on the limited information I’m working with. I want to emphasize I DO NOT have any insider knowledge nor do I have hard evidence with some of the things about to say. If you disagree, fair enough. Nothing I’m writing here is meant to be the total truth of the situation because none of us here at Badfauxmance will ever truly know what the truth is. So this is our own guess. Anyways if you’ve been following our blog for a long time now, what you’re about to read is stuff you’re already aware of.
So let’s start off with why did Alejandra do all this? I’m starting with Alejandra because she’s the most straightforward. It’s well established at this point she’s a complete nobody in Hollywood. She’s an actress/model in Spain. She has some acting credits, but she hasn’t been in anything major that’s gotten her accolades in Spain. She’s also had a history of doing pap walks and try to get attention with past boyfriends, but she’s never gotten huge recognition. She’s probably at best a C-lister in Europe? Taking that into consideration why wouldn’t she want to jump at the chance to get more attention by being seen with a Hollywood actor whose a million times bigger than her? It’s almost too obvious NOT to do such a thing if you were in her position.
As for Sebastian, this is the really big question. Why did he agree to do this? As I’ve discussed in some Answers in the past, there’s 3 probable reasons.
The biggest reason is that he was “forced” to do it by CAA. CAA has a history of doing suspicious things in the name of getting their clients gigs. This literally included sending actresses to see Harvey Weinstein while ignoring past complaints about what happened to past actresses after those meetings. Why should anyone assume that this was the only time they ever got involved in sketchy things? Cade Hudson, a CAA agent, has been accused of sexual harassment. Whether you believe Rose McGowan or not, she has straight up said that CAA is complicit with sketchy behavior that practically pimped people to studio executives. So then you might be wondering, why in the world would anyone want to sign up with an agency this sketchy? It’s because they’re a powerful agency with connections in Hollywood. If you’re told or asked to do certain things to “prove” you’re willing to do what it takes to get further, you’ll probably do it. This could include doing a fake PR relationship with a woman no one in the US has ever heard of.
Considering how work wasn’t really happening in 2020 due to the pandemic shutdowns, being paid to be some rich woman’s fake celebrity boyfriend, probably seemed like a convenient way to get some money. It honestly wouldn’t be surprising if a lot of money was exchanged and as his agency, CAA would be getting a good cut of the money. It’s in essence the same thing as if Sebastian got booked for a movie role and his agents get a cut of his earnings. They’re basically representing him in this transaction. However by being the ones instigating this (on his end), they're likely putting a degree of pressure on him as I pointed out in #1. A newly signed talent who isn’t a famous A-lister would be the kind who is more likely to get pushed into fake relationships like this.
As I previously said with the pandemic causing production shutdowns, Sebastian needs to get attention in general just to stay relevant and on people’s minds. PR relationships like this are a classic strategy. Clearly CAA and the rest of the team decided to just stick with a strategy they know. I mean it’s not like anyone is going to care or look hard into any of this... am I right you guys?
I kept this relatively brief because a lot of the stuff I wrote above is more or less what we’ve been saying for the past 8 months. All I’ve done is just compiled in a slightly more organized way for you to read.
You can make a strong case that it’s because of the pandemic making me kind of bored that is the cause of this. I’ve learned way more about Celebrity PR and celebrity gossip in the past 4 months than I knew for ten years. It’s weirdly fascinating and kind of disturbing at how far Hollywood goes to make their clients keep relevant and get attention. They even use PR stunts to distract people from knowing about things. I think it’s particular sad PR romances.
Yes couples dating even getting married and HAVING CHILDREN TOGETHER can be artificially planned for the benefit of one or both celebs participating in this “relationship.” Honestly, learning how manipulative it all is makes me way more suspicious of celebrity couples than I used to be. I’m getting way too interested in figuring out whether people are legit a couple or faking it for some reason at this point.

Well she finally got the attention she’s been wanting for almost a year. You know as bigger entertainment sites start mentioning her, I’m literally waiting for comments sections to start spamming with the fact she’s a cultural appropriator and social media to try canceling him again because of it. People who were already upset with this undoubtedly still have some of those pictures of her around. You can’t truly delete things from the internet after all. Or who knows maybe people will ignore the racism issue again.
If this thing between Seb & Ale continues past summer, do you think any of you will revise your opinions then?
If that happened, the only opinion that would change is our belief in Sebastian’s intelligence that he’d agree to extend a contract on this Titanic level disaster they call a romance.
In case anyone was wondering or needs reminding, that as the admin of this group blog, I happen to be Asian American. So no I don’t dislike Alejandra because “she’s dating Sebastian.” I dislike her because she’s a yellowface wearing rich girl who doesn’t care there’s a pandemic going on while I have to quarantine at home for over a year and I lost two relatives to this virus. She should go back to Spain and stay there.
So remember earlier this month Elite Daily posted about all of Seb’s previous relationships? If not, take a look here. They went through all his known relationships from Leighton to CB herself, but the funny thing was that they mention that CB and Seb seemed to end in 2020. They started talking about how Seb seemed to be with Daisy Edgar Jones, which we all know isn’t really the case. This article was posted on April 8th.
Well today, Elite Daily posted another article about Seb. Talking about what kind of romantic partner he would be. See it here! Now while the beginning seems to be another fluff Seb piece, the thing that seemed to catch my eye was this quote: “While we don't know if Stan is currently coupled up — there have been reports that maybe sparks are flying with his Fresh co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones — we can get some insight into what kind of partner he may be based on his zodiac sign.”
It’s pretty interesting that all the Pro-Ale articles are in Spanish an/or Italian, where Ale is more known. For those of you who are not aware, Ale was on a Spanish Netflix show as well as an Italian show previously. Every article that comes from those places talk about how in love the couple are, and about his “cute” IG comments on her pictures 🤮. There is even a new article that talks about her recent post promoting “Monday” like a supportive girlfriend.
However, 99% of the articles in English, are basically saying that it seems like Seb is single, and that if he dated CB, it ended back in 2020, which we wish it had. The funny thing is, this latest article doesn’t even mention the barnacle. Man her team must be spitting nails.
The question seems to be, is Seb’s team trying to push the narrative that this is either coming to an end? What are your thoughts? Anyone else tired of the same boring articles that seem to come out pro Ale? Same story, different language.
The Saga of Alejandra/Sebastian - Part 1: Fake News
Hi readers,
Please pardon the dramatic title. It’s completely meant to be sarcastic. By sarcastic, I totally meant the idea that this relationship is a saga. As this writer once mentioned in a previous post, this blog will be discussing this “romance” for as long as the charade continues because of the fact it’s PR stunt that’s lasted way too long with very minimal results as far as we (or other skeptics of this relationship) can determine. To adhere to the philosophy we set out to achieve with this blog, this relationship (fauxmance if you will) is going to discussed and examined very closely, which was also done regarding the whole situation with Chris and Aly a couple weeks ago.
You might be thinking, “But Badfauxmance people, why are you guys writing a freaking SERIES about this?” Well readers, there’s just so much about it to unpack that we simply can’t limit it to one post. If we did, it would be a doctoral thesis length essay, which I imagine you guys have no interest whatsoever in reading. Which is why we’ll be breaking it down in digestible chunks for your (and frankly our) convenience. We frankly don’t have any particular idea how long this series of posts will be, but it’s going to be at least three. Anything beyond post number 3 will be just updates to the newest “events” this “romance” has produced.
To start this off, we’re calling this “Fake News.” Why? To paraphase our soon to be former President, the whole thing is a fraud. So let’s get to WHY we think it’s fake. To break this down further this post will address the following reasons:
Sebastian sounds like an insincere, hypocritical, Covidiot clown.
The timing of this “relationship” is very suspect.
The pap walk pics are way too good and clearly orchestrated.
Just who the hell is Alejandra and how the hell did Sebastian meet her anyway?
Alejandra puts WAY more effort in selling this relationship than Sebastian does.
1) Sebastian sounds like an insincere, hypocritcal, Covidiot clown.
Sadly readers, this relationship with Alejandra literally has made him sound like a hypocritical Covidiot clown. If you guys will recall in the timeline post, Sebastian once complained about the crowds of people going to beaches despite warnings that it was a TERRIBLE idea. This was particularly notable given how around that time was Spring Break and lots of college students were on their usual Spring Break vacations emphasizing how they weren’t scared of the virus because they’re young and it’s mostly elderly people getting sick.
However Sebastian over the course of his relationship with Alejandra has traveled to Spain In July for reasons that had very little to do with work. While his charity work is ALWAYS admirable (and also fitting with his past behavior), the fact he was visiting a children’s hospital during a pandemic didn’t seem to be appropriate. Granted the cases in Spain were low by that point (and so was NY state), it was frankly bad optics. It looked completely tone deaf and inappropriate to the situation we were all in. To compound the bad optics, he was on a yacht with Alejandra, where his romance was revealed. That’s most definitely not related to work, and I’ll be addressing this further in point #3. Sebastian was apparently spotted going to a Spanish nightclub, which had plenty of people also there, with no social distancing, etc.
He later shows up back in NYC with his new “girlfriend.” There’s literally no reason for her to be flying to New York as she doesn’t have any work reasons to be in the US. He however had to be back home to do self-quarantine so he would be ready to finish filming Falcon and The Winter Soldier. This would involve flying to Atlanta and then location filming in Prague, which was where he was in March before flying back home due to the pandemic.
The most recent event in this “romance” is the infamous Talum pap beach walk. I won’t re-hash this whole incident as I had already written about it so go read it here. It’s all contradictory to what he said back in March. He’s not an ignorant newbie to the business. He’s smart enough to recognize image and realize how this all looks bad on him. Perhaps I’m being overly optimistic or forgiving, but I’d like to believe that he’s aware of how bad this makes him look and he’s probably more bothered by it than you’d think. It wouldn’t be a surprise if this whole “relationship” and other issues with his Brain Trust is the reason why he’s looking kind of off recently.
2) The timing of this “relationship” is very suspect.
Again referring to the timeline post, It was announced in industry publications that Sebastian signed with CAA back in May. The interesting thing to note is that CAA has a history of having their talent participate in publicity stunts like pap walks. Granted CAA isn’t the only that does stuff like this, but they apparently have a reputation for having their stars doing PR relationships. It’s convenient timing that Sebastian has been home alone in New York since March and then suddenly in the beginning of July he’s spotted with a Spanish actress people have never heard of. (I’ll address this further in Point #4.)
In case people are questioning the idea of CAA orchestrating any of this, Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck had a TikTok video exposing the fact they participate in staged pap walks. Ana is represented by CAA and Ben is represented by Endeavor (the parent company of WME, which was was apparently Sebastian’s agency when he was cast first cast as Bucky). So it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if CAA is trying to get their clients discussed more by using their clients’ new “relationships.”
3) The pap walk pics are way too good and clearly orchestrated.
Just in case you weren’t aware, yesterday we just shared a link to a 2016 interview with a paparazzo who explains how staged pap walks work. I won’t explain further about it. I also just pointed out in the previous point the Affleck/de Armas TikTok video literally showing them do a staged pap walk. The photographers were a few yards away with clear shots of the two of them walking together with dogs. It’s impossible for Ana or Ben to miss seeing the four people taking pictures of them.
Sebastian’s and Alejandra’s pap pics are very clear shots. The yacht pics are particularly interesting because the photographer would have to be located on a boat to take them. Unlike a super crowded street, it’s hard NOT to notice a photographer on a boat just a few yards away from your own using a zoom lens to take pictures of you. Speaking of crowded streets strangely convenient how a photographer happens to be located right there to take clear shots of Sebastian and Alejandra in a location that doesn’t have a lot of people. Sorry, but you’d have to be completely unaware of your surroundings to not notice a person with a camera taking pictures of you. The Talum pictures both the “official” pap pictures and the “random fan’ taken pictures even have a few shots where Sebastian and Alejandra were looking directly towards whoever was taking the picture.
Are you getting what I’m saying here, reader?
4) Just who the hell is Alejandra and how the hell did Sebastian meet her anyway?
As I briefly touched upon in points number 1 and 2, Sebastian was in NYC when the quarantine began. He wasn’t spotted with Alejandra until early July. Based on her IG feed, she was in Costa Rica and then Mexico in March. Then flew back to Spain presumably because of various countries ordering their citizens to fly back to their home countries before international travel would be blocked. So as far as we can tell, she’s been in Spain that entire period of time that Sebastian was in NY. How in the world could Sebastian have possibly met her before being seen with her in July?
Some would try to argue they met through Jon Kortajarena. Sebastian and Jon were seen at a Hugo Boss event a couple years back. You can easily search for the pictures they took together. They are also IG friends. Alejandra has a few pictures of her with Jon on her feed and they were in fact co-stars in her now cancelled series, High Seas, which is available on Netflix if you’re interested in watching her acting. Incidentally the Hugo Boss event I mentioned was in February 2018. The first season of High Seas was apparently filmed Winter 2018 and was released in May 2019. Unless Jon and Alejandra were friends years before filming together, it’s really unlikely Jon would have mentioned her or introduced her to Sebastian before this year. Also looking on Jon’s IG feed, some of his pictures in March/April indicate he was in LA, so he wasn’t anywhere near either Sebastian or Alejandra. (If anyone knows differently, please let us know!)
Sure some could argue, “well what if Sebastian and Alejandra did online dating before they met in July?” Sure that’s a possibility. There’s plenty of people doing online dating right now. But again, their only apparent connection is through Jon. That would be assuming Jon introduced them to each other, but why would he need to do so? Also why the heck does Sebastian need to be introduced to a Spanish actress who was still in Spain the same time he was in NYC if he wanted to get a new girlfriend? Are you people seriously trying to argue that Mr. Sebastian “I am in Marvel movies” Stan couldn’t find an American woman to be his new girlfriend? Seriously?
5) Alejandra puts WAY more effort in selling this relationship than Sebastian does.
Sebastian hasn’t posted a single picture of Alejandra on his IG feed or make any references to her in his IG stories. You can try to argue that’s he’s not a very regular social media poster to explain all of this. However he has posted pictures of his past girlfriend Margarita on his feed. There’s at least one picture of her still on his IG.
Alejandra has possibly one picture of her and Sebastian on her IG account (it’s a long distance blurry shot which makes it suspect if it’s actually him at all), it’s really noticeable there’s not one definite picture of him with her other than the pap pictures. Also on her IG stories, she keeps baiting people with videos that imply she’s with him or at least the same location as him. It’s like look we know you’re his “girlfriend” why are you trying to so hard to tell us this? Actually in the next part of this series, I’ll be diving into this further.
The other notable thing is the fact Alejandra follows him on IG, but interestingly Sebastian doesn’t follow her. He followed and still follows his ex-girlfriends Jennifer Morrison and Margarita Levieva, (especially while he and Margarita were still dating) and yet he can’t be bothered to follow his “current girlfriend.” Incidentally the argument “he’s trying to protect her/her privacy” is a nonsense argument considering their pap pictures clearly identify who she is and even mentions the fact she’s a Spanish actress. So exactly what is even the point of pretending like she’s not his girlfriend when he clearly was okay with having at least one pic of his then girlfriend on his account. You can still see that picture on his feed even though they’ve been separated for about 4 years now.
Nothing is adding up, which only leaves people like us at Badfauxmance to conclude this is all made up for a reason we have yet to figure out, but we have suspicions. Which we will address in Part 5.

So apparently Alejandra’s management posted an IG story yesterday of their talent roster. Many of the pictures include couples. But funny thing. Notice how none of the pictures in this delightful montage include a single picture of Alejandra and Sebastian. Hm…. I wonder why? 😉😜 I mean out of all the S/O’s there’s little doubt Sebastian would be the most famous one, so why WOULDN’T you want to include him and milk this for all it’s worth? I’m sure you readers can figure this out.
