Nope, so why did this person sign off on it? That should be the question. Another PR failure.

The funny part of the whole story with the teenager is not only that Sid made her blonde wait, but also took her boots and used it to do drills. And the story mentioned that it was -15 degrees at the time 😂
😂😂😂
Of course this is the top of this story.
I suspect the editor of this article has been de-accredited
She was there. There was a photo of her with a Pens player and his gf. This was over the holiday/NYE break so only a few days and he didn't want to snuggle in bed with his gf of 10 years or sit in front of a fire drinking cocoa. No he wanted to go skate outside and do drills with a teenager. It's like a scene out of the movie He's Just Not That into You!!
I’m very much confused by the chronology of those events. People on their bye week get up at dawn, when the frost is especially strong, and go to the skating rink. At the same time, they still have important things to do on schedule, but they leave everyone for the sake of a teenager. Everything in this story is strange and illogical.
fuckboy’s single dropped to number 33 and it was 28 this morning i’m fucking screaming
Yeah... I'm really not understanding why different wording other than, "a love letter to FANS" was used when Mark and Misha aren't even in it and such a big deal has been made about the ep in general by them (more than any ep this season so far). I'm not even one of those that believes (in Carver era) the two actors are treated badly. I think the show puts its money where its mouth is on that one (and Misha in particular has been given a lot of opportunities). It's the PR to the fandom (a lot of which deal with Misha/Cas hate every day, people telling them they are lesser fans) that I feel is the real issue here. Of course, TPTB concerned with how fandom treats itself is not something they typically (and I guess rightfully so) involve themselves in. There has been some early season PR that's tried to say and support the "ensemble" mindset peeps, but that has been quite unusual all things considered. And now, honestly, quite useless.
They aren’t likely related but the poster thing… Like OH GOD. You wanna use our fandom’s art and skill so you don’t have to pay someone? Um… NO. Getting picked is not flattering or helping artists make a living. The CW is simply being cheap as fuck and trying to make us work for them on their terms. I find it distasteful on the whole and more than a little horrible.
I was already predicting lower ratings before this unfortunate news dropped. I still think this will happen (it’s just apparently the CW doesn’t care either way since apparently they will keep this show on life support if they have to until they find a way to expand the brand successfully), but the lead in may keep things even until after the middle. Many have already left because the show just doesn’t know what PR to throw at a (surely half) LGBTQA+ fanbase that is well educated and fed up on many issues… Issues that TPTB have opted to pretend don’t exist (misogyny, the potential for queerbaiting…), or otherwise when they do attempt to speak on them they end up sticking their foot in their mouths, slowly, but surely, ensuring the show’s brand and legacy becomes tarnished. They have literally no clue what to do against that and it is sad.
The decision not to have Mark and Misha in the 200th episode and officially call it “a love letter to fans” is so irresponsible that I can’t begin to even talk about it. All I can do is facepalm and laugh sadly into the void. They would have done better to simply keep their fucking mouths shut about it and dealt with the consequences of fandom opinion afterwards. Many may not watch the episode now, trash talking it (and not even in a controversial, promotional way) and the politics around it right up until it airs and probably even after. What a bad cloud to gave around the beginning of the season…
I mean… the episode is written by Robbie… and Crowley and Cas are likely to be featured wonderfully in the play itself… but did this episode absolutely have to be the 200th? An episode we likely would have never reached without Misha in particular? It’s just bad business IMO.
Bad business….
