Pr0ko's Proko was the best imo but I don't think they're in the fandom anymore
Ahhhh. They aren’t NOT in it and correct me if I’m wrong, @slipperyl3oy, but they definitely aren’t as focused or invested (I believe?) but can definitely still appreciate the content. I’m glad you loved their Proko so much! But I’m sorry at the same time, especially if there aren’t any more prompts or fics being put out. ;(
I think for me, @brophigenia ’s Proko really stuck with me because it was just a new take on him and really built up from the foundation with his past history and who he was and I don’t know how to explain it. And I’m sure you don’t want me to rant on about it either. (I also think it’s fair to add that I talk to Bro fairly frequently and we have tossed proko/k hc’s around, which dig my grave deeper)
Long story short, I love all Proko variations and it makes me happy when people write about him. I just am attached and a guilty pleasure ship has fast become an otp ship and I thank everyone that writes them!!
Why do you think the showrunners cut Taena Merryweather from the show? You'd figure that as sex-obsessed as they are, they would jump at the chance to give Cersei a female lover!
My guess is that Taena and her role did not fit with how they characterised Cersei on the show. The show didn’t include a lot of book!Cersei’s use of sex as way to wield power. @satinlights may have more coherent thoughts on this, I’m no Cersei expert
Listen, you’re not ready for this. Why couldn’t the vampire sleep at night?Because he was coffin(while you sit there and sigh and roll ur eyes just know that I genuinely still laugh at this)
Declan/Jiang piece to follow this piece of Declan and Kavinsky talking about Ronan. For @pr0ko
„You could visit Jiang, too. He misses you, too.“
Declan had never expected Kavinsky to give him relationship advice. He hadn not expected Kavinsky to know about his and Jiang’s relationship either. If what they had could be called such. For him, their relationship had mostly been built on both of them wanting something exhilarating and new. Declan had wanted an adventure before graduating and Jiang had wanted something more solid than his friends.
Just sleeping around and experimenting had turned into something more. Kavinsky was not wrong to mention sexting. Declan had sent a few rather… racy… messages during lonely nights, but Jiang had replied every time, encouraging Declan and spurring him on, praising him with little late night calls, breathless and quiet, but clearly happy with their deal.
It was not enough for Jiang, apparently. And as much as Declan wanted to deny it, it was not enough for him either.
He skipped lunch with Ronan and Matthew and instead drove to the Aglionby dorms, stopping only to message Jiang and to ask him if he was having a day in, and to pick up some flowers. It was a habit that Jiang also encouraged. Whenever Declan brought him flowers, Jiang first said he should not have, but then took them, smiling all teeth but no usual sharpness. Declan did not mind the little kisses he got as thank yous either.
„I’m surprised you’re here,“ Jiang said, letting him into the dorm room. „You never visit. I was starting to wonder if you’ve found a boo at college.“
Declan snorted, shaking his head and offering Jiang the flowers. „I haven’t found a boo. I’ve just been busy.“ He leaned down to kiss Jiang’s cheek, and Jiang laughed, shaking his head. Jiang did not say anything, instead smelled the flowers and went to put them into a vase while Declan sat down.
„So,“ Jiang started, turning to face Declan, playing with the petals of the flowers. „Why are you here if you’re so busy?“ There was a note of pain in his voice and Declan frowned.
„I…“ He waited for Jiang to sit down next to him and took his hand. „I missed you. And I just realised it today, that I really truly feel strongly towards you. Strongly enough to miss seeing you.“
Jiang looked down at their hands, just staring, and then smiled, leaning against Declan.
„Finally.“ He mumbled, squeezing Declan’s hand. „K told me that Lynches have a hard time figuring out what they feel, but you must be the slowest of your brothers.“
Declan snorted, but let Jiang think as he wished. He did not care if he was slow in realising his affection. What mattered was that he had realised he did care for Jiang and that he wanted to show it to him. Declan leaned into a soft kiss and let his actions speak for him.
