19. How often do you draw?

pretty frequently--i'd say at least 4-5 days out of the week, for at least an hour at a time.

i'd like to be able to make time to draw every day, but that's not always possible with, y'know, adult life.

it is weird to discover the stupid sad and lonely that comes with letting go of dissatisfaction...

I mean, what could be better than the absence of dissatisfaction... except if you’ve cozied up to it for very long at all, we get attached to any & every dumb thing we cozy up to bc in truth it’s all connected

the connections just use our cozy to... reveal themselves

how do we cozy up ? mostly just with our attention

It is so hard to use online drawing references/tutorials/resources...

Because they are online.

Which means *I* have to be online to search/use them

Which means I can't concentrate on a bloody thing and end up back on tumblr in like 5 seconds.

Never let anyone try to tell you art isn't hard work. Getting something from my imagination to the paper apparently requires reference pics of ferrets, angler fish, octapodes, eels both electric and moray, catfish, Asian dragons, koi fish, and salamanders. By the time I figure out what it is supposed to look like, I don't have the energy to actually draw it.
