// Sobbing because I actually love how this came out. I hated my sketch, I hated my lineart even more, but look at him, he's so PRETTY! <333 Thanks to 5e I added little stars on his skin <3

how does one.... keep the line weight consistent
i keep making thicker and thicker lines the further into the drawing i am, it leads to some very frustrating results
I actually know exactly what you mean!
My two suggestions are to make sure you're warmed up properly before you start, sometimes I end up lining with a heavier hand as I get warmed up.
Second suggestion is to make sure you're not zoomed in too far. Make sure you can see a decent chunk of your piece to help you keep your lines harmonious throughout, without getting too caught up in the specific section you're working on.
You can also line everything with a lighter weight first and then go back and thicken the relevant lines after, if that's easier!
Two doodles of Sanji that I’m very proud of!
Just wanted to say how appreciative of your tutorials I am. I have a hard time breaking things down into simple shapes myself and it really helped e being able to draw these characters by seeing them broken down. Do you have any tips on how you learned to break things down into simple shapes? Idk why but I always struggle with it. Thanks again!
Hi! Didn’t mean to leave this unanswered for so long, but thank you ☺️ I’m glad you find them as helpful as I do >.<
I totally get it about breaking things down into shapes. That shit gets tricky.
But yes! I do have a few tips. I made a little art guide for it, but I got an anon asking about drawing Alastor in different poses, which applied to your question, so I put them all in the same post.
Here’s a link to the post. Hope it helps!
I drew a Jure! I don't really draw people so I was pretty damn proud of how this of turned out!
Someone being nice to me in the tags/my inbox/the comments: Wow! Were you always this good?
