asking someone “who do you think you are” when they show a higher level of confidence or do something outside of the box you’ve compartmentalized them into is some of the most hater—not cool shit that you could possibly do. that shit is so……weird. allow this person to blossom. and fucking support them. all the world knows that it’s possibly taking them all the courage they didn’t even know they had to step out and grow into what they’re becoming, or to show the world who they already are. and if you don’t find it in your heart to support them, at least don’t be discouraging. it’s scaring the shit out of them, and you demeaning them doesn’t help. you, them, the Prime Minister of wherever the fuck nor or anyone else.
