So I’ve been thinking about going back to church recently, and I’ve been curious about Community of Christ. So I went to their website to find a building close to me and it’s hours, and the absolute reputational hit they took when an ai bot asked me if I wanted anything. GO AWAY!! STINKY!!

I was looking for how long Sputnik was up for (October 1957-January 1959) and i learned something really cute about it

An ai take several years out of date but I was just trying to watch Naatu Naatu again (as one does) and yt search is awful so it’s hard to find what I’m looking for at the best of times but also!

Why do people interpolate footage on purpose?! It looks so obviously awful!! I was trying to watch a dance scene, and they ruined all the precise timing, they took character out of the movement, and for no good reason! They spent time and effort to make it look worse.

And a side thing, but ai looks bad, and when it does, ai-believers take pride in that. They’ll brag about how poor their artistic judgment is and I think that’s weird although I don’t have tons to say other than “huh”

I am trying to record a thing and it will look so cool and I can make it look better than the last time I did this but ooooohhh I am making harder on myself than I had to ooooffff

4 hour setup, will be ~1hr on recording, prolly less tbh. Every single step fought me every single bit of the way and urgh. I understand I’m on corner cases of stuff but please work like you’re supposed to!!! It will be cool it will be cool it will be…

(This is part 1, part 2 will involve going up a mountain, part 3 is compositing. I might cheat on part 2 and go somewhere less demanding but at the very least it has to be proper forest)
