So I’ve been thinking about going back to church recently, and I’ve been curious about Community of Christ. So I went to their website to find a building close to me and it’s hours, and the absolute reputational hit they took when an ai bot asked me if I wanted anything. GO AWAY!! STINKY!!

I am trying to record a thing and it will look so cool and I can make it look better than the last time I did this but ooooohhh I am making harder on myself than I had to ooooffff

4 hour setup, will be ~1hr on recording, prolly less tbh. Every single step fought me every single bit of the way and urgh. I understand I’m on corner cases of stuff but please work like you’re supposed to!!! It will be cool it will be cool it will be…

(This is part 1, part 2 will involve going up a mountain, part 3 is compositing. I might cheat on part 2 and go somewhere less demanding but at the very least it has to be proper forest)

Okay so I’ve been on the new iOS visual update for a while and like, they really did just make everything worse for fun, didn’t they? Every single button is harder to read, every interaction is more opaque (despite the transparency), everything you want to do is hidden under an extra menu layer. Genuinely who signed off on this? I thought that my muscle memory would come back to it after a while but no! It’s not merely new, it’s actually worse! Did they UX test this at all? I don’t really care about how it looks in the marketing, I already have your product. Why did you make it worse to use on purpose?
