Early June Near the Missouri

Out for a drive around the Missouri River near Washburn North Dakota during one of the most beautiful times of the year - early June! Come along with me...

People think North Dakota is just a fly over state, not worth visiting. I don’t understand that. Just look at these views!

Yes, we do have trees on the prairie. Many of them live in the river bottoms.

This house was tantalizing me from behind the trees. Does anyone know who owns it? I’d love to explore it.

North Dakota is just ridiculously beautiful in summer. You think I’d be used to it by now, but it still manages to surprise me every time I go for a summer drive. I can drive down a country highway past nothing but fields and farms and ponds and be purely in awe.
