I'm not sure how many of the arcana cards I'll get through but I wanted to do this one at least, hehe~

A new episode of Pravus is up on Webtoon!
He knows what he's doing, eh? 😏
Sauphian Home Planet: Axoali
The first in this little mini series with the different alien species in my comic Pravus. Starting out with the Sauphians!
A poster for my comic Pravus! I've wanted to do a piece with both of the boys for a while. I've drawn them lots in independent pieces, but not so much something like this.
Maaannn I need to do some environmental concept art about my fictional planet that orbits a black hole. Its such a fun concept that Im so proud of because time moves differently on one side of the planet vs the other and it makes for such fun world building for the people that live on it.
Im already considering making some cards with a little biography for my different alien races. Maybe i should do some with their respective planets, too.
Ive been hung up on the format for how i present the information-- if i should do it in a 8.5x11 page format, a phone screen (1080x1920), cards, etc etc. Or if i do an infinite scroll for my website. But a longer format card that fits well with a phone screen makes the most sense for legibility.
Some music to go with this
Something on the horizon...
Can't tell you how jazzed I am about getting to this part in the story!! Been waiting to get here FOREVER 🥹
(Pages 1-5 of 10)
(Need to catch up? You can read the whole story so far at www.pravuscomic.com)
So....I recently finished the second draft outline for Pravus. Out of curiosity, I counted how many scenes it worked out to be. Putting aside the fact that things still might be added or removed...It came out to 166.
166 scenes.
Theoretically? That's about how many episodes I'd have. Which wouldn't be that bad in the grand scheme of things-- except its almost never 1 scene to 1 episode. Often it has to be broken down when the scenes get lengthy. So lets assume it's at least 200 (if not closer to double)
And when I say scene, its basically whenever a pov switches, a time jump occurs, a location changes, the next sequence of events starts sort of thing. Basically whenever I need a breath inbetween moments in the story.
To put this in perspective-- I've finished 22 episodes of Pravus so far and it worked out to be about 100 pages. So I did the math to get an estimate.
I hope I'm doing the math wrong but I don't think I am XD;
And...yeah the picture I posted of Athena earlier about exactly sums up my sentiment
4.5 is about right. Each episode (scene) I posted typically worked out to about 4 pages.
Which means, on top of the 100 I've already done.... I still have around 909 pages to go as a rough estimate for this story. And that's a conservative estimate.
Did I mention this might also turn into a trilogy because I couldn't meaningly fit all the narrative beats I wanted to in this first arc....?
