Hi! I go by Mesa, and I am a comic artist and writer. I find myself pulled in a lot of creative directions depending on where the hyperfixation winds prevail from, but I have one main original project.

Pravus is an original sci-fi fantasy comic of mine that follows a dangerous fugitive shrouded in enigma and mystery by galactic proportions. Haunted by his past and slow to trust, the fate of a pre-spacefaring Earth may hang in the balance if he cannot redefine himself.

WARNING: Please note that Pravus, along with much of the media I make fanart of and its communities, are not suitable for children. There may be occasional suggestive themes/discussions and jokes, heavy violence and trauma, or upsetting imagery. I try to tag and censor as best I can, but it is intended for a mature audience.

I officially have fewer pages TO line than I have Finished lines for Sebastian's pilot XD; 22 pages total, I have 10 to go!

I had to go through and reformat the last ten because I didnt like the page compositions and had to adjust some of the demeanor of one of the characters, which kinda threw everything off. But I'm back on track now!

How it feels to post about your ocs even though only 2 people care about them

big fan of when a character is dead and the narrative frames them in a very angelic, soft, gentle manner but then it turns out not only are they still alive (plot twist) but theyre alive in the most gruesome and horrific way. your loving kind mentor who motivates you to fight in their memory came back wrong and theres blood and dirt under their fingernails from clawing they way out of the grave.

a character who truly, legitimately goes “but why does that matter?” about their feelings when someone who cares about them asks. and the sudden falling of everyone around them’s faces as they realize that this person doesn’t recognize themself as someone who needs or should be taken care of. i want Everyone to hurt. surprise at the idea, worry for them, horror at not having noticed. do you see this person who doesn’t think of themselves as a person?
