This picture isn't from today, but I wanted to post an update on Maggie. She isn't doing berg well today. She hasn't been eating and had some vomiting and diarrhea today. We were able to go see her and took her to the Emergency Vet to stay over night, so she won't be alone. We will take her back to her regular Vet in the morning. #prayformaggie

#missmaggiebelle was energetic snd excited to see me this morning. She doesn't even get very energetic when she feels well at home all that often. I didn't get any pictures of that because I had to fight to keep her in her cage. I was moving her food bowls and she even tried to bolt resulting in pulling out her IV. She never tries to sneak out at home, but she is getting tired of being in that cage. She has been there since Monday. 💖 💖 After her failed escape attempt and removal of her IV she laid down and tried to nap for awhile. 💖 💖 She isn't eating. I didn't get her to eat today or yesterday. They force fed her a couple bites, but she's not eating. She got a long walk outside before I got there today and I took her for a really long time outside. I didn't take my phone outside to get picture of her smiling outside either. After I took her out, she was completely worn out, and her legs were sore. She was trying to sleep when I left. I hope she continues to rest over the weekend. I have a post-op appointment for myself Monday morning, so I will go see her again Monday afternoon. 💖 💖 They will replace her IV, and continue her other medicines. I hope she keeps this IV in. Her numbers went down a little bit more, and I hope they continue to keep going down. I hope she continues to get better. I hope she gets to come home before too much longer too. 💖 💖 They are doing such a great job with her and she really likes everyone there. When I first left her, she was really ill and was super sad and scared. She is feeling a little better each day now, and seems comfortable enough there even though I know she would rather come home. She was even still really nervous on her second day, and tiny bit nervous the third day. Now she mostly acts like she does at home. 💖 💖 I know she wants to come home, but I am glad she is comfortable, likes the people who work there, and isn't scared anymore. Maggie seems to feel even better today and her numbers are still going down, but aren't low enough yet. She was a little unhappy that I woke her up and kept trying to feed her today. I did let her go back to sleep for awhile though. 💖 💖 She's not at all happy with her antibiotic shot either. I think she is tired of getting poked. She's usually very calm and doesn't struggle or make noise for needles, but she struggled some today and cried out a little bit. I think with more fluids, more antibiotics and more rest that she should continue to recover. 💖 💖 Thanks everyone for the prayers and thoughts and good vibes.
