     she sat in mike’s basement with a blanket wrapped around her, covering every single inch of her except for her face. and she was SHAKING, not because she was cold but because she was scared.   “ nope. no, no way! ”   melanie declares in a loud voice, even offering a small glare at mike. what she thought was going to be a nice and calm afternoon of them playing dungeons and dragons was quickly turning into her worst nightmare.   “ i’m not getting on a bike. ”

                 Her eyes look over him, confusing set in her features as she huffs gently. “Well shit you look a lot like my brother...” She admitted softly, a kind smile on her lips. “Sorry if I accidentally call you Richie okay?” She asked gently before pausing. “Shit...                   SHE’S NOT ENTIRELY SURE  how he’s going to react upon seeing her. el hadn’t exactly left on the  best  terms  -  she’d broken a  promise.  you’re not suppose to  break  promises. maybe he hated her for breaking that promise  ,  and when he saw her he’d  yell  at her again. the thoughts running through her head were making her  palms  sweaty  ,  and she decided just to do it. the girl reached over and rang the  doorbell  to the familiar house  ,  hoping it was  him  who answered and not  anyone   else.  / / @prcmiiise
