My Favorite Part

It was too early to be awake. His side of the bed was already empty and it left you feeling cold.

You could hear dishes clanging together echoing through the tiny apartment, he mustn't be as hungover as you. Grabbing the duvet and wrapping it around yourself your bare feet padded their way to the kitchen.

Ready to complain about the noise, you stopped, breath taken by the sight before you. Half dressed, his muscles flexed under his honey skin as he put the dishes away.

You couldn't decide what was sexier, his broad shoulders or the clean kitchen. It was definitely his shoulders...and arms...and neck...and back.

Your mind wandered, thoughts of his arms around you when you were cold. Play fights where he'd throw you over his shoulder and carry you to the bedroom. Showers...god the showers together. When it was his turn under the water and you'd watch the shampoo slide down his entire backside.

"Babe," he was smiling at you, "I don't think you're awake yet, I was calling your name." 

You stammered at being caught daydreaming "I just need…"

"Coffee?" He reached for the pot he'd just made. 

Walking closer you pulled him into a back hug, he was so warm. "Uh-uh"

Refusing to loosen your grip he turned in your arms to face you. He kissed the top of your head, "then what do you need?" 

Smiling against his chest and squeezing him tighter you answered, "This, but back in bed."
