Hey, I'm super shy but i need to make more friends in the trans community before I feel comfortable actually transitioning. My asks/dms should be open so, consider this an open invitation to come talk to me if you've ever wanted to.

dysphoric transfem culture is having such bad chest dysphoria (i’m pre-e) but also when it is this hot… a girl just has to go shirtless 😭
Dysphoric culture is!
Also, yes the struggle is real! During the heatwave mod would come home, remove the dysphoria hoodie, and just sit on the floor like a pile of slime.
One of mod’s nonbinary friends (also pre-e) is sleeping shirtless because of the heat and mod knows it’s been super dysphoria-inducing for them too…. hopefully it gets cooler soon anon!
Anxious about posting selfies but I need to deal with it so ...
Some good advice I have towards people who are who are trying to figure out if they have gender dysphoria/want to transition was to picture yourself
1. As an old/older man or women
2. Transitioning and ending up not being conveniently attractive
Most of the time if both of those end up being appealing/better than your current situation, it points towards gender dysphoria/if you should transition. Primarily the “if you should transition” part because a lot of detransitioners say that they realized it was a mistake was when they didn’t end up looking perfect or suddenly were faced with the idea of growing old as that gender.
I hope that this helps! I know how confusing things like this can be to younger trans people.
Trans voice training tips
(Meant for afab but could work for amab. I wouldn’t know)
So I noticed that singing songs that are sung deeper or just singing way lower than the actual singer helps lower your voice over time which is pretty rad. I don’t sing but when I’m home alone I try to as low as I can and my voice.
I found that the best songs are a lot from Panic! at the Disco (Northern Downpour and House of Memories are good) and songs from the Lemon Boy by Cavetown. Especially Boys Will Be Bus bc mate it’s about being a boy yeehaw. I’ve heard YMCA is too.
I have noticed that voice is significantly lower than it was 2-3 years ago when I came out as nonbinary, especially on the last six months since I’ve been training myself to speak power than usual. My speaking voice to strangers, is no longer super high pitched from anxiety because I’ve reminded myself enough to speak lower to pass as a dude when I’m in public so remember to do that as well!!
If you’re amab I don’t know how well this would work but any high pitched songs would probably work if it’s just the opposite. I’m not very educated so if you are please rehlog with your suggestions and tips for amab or afab and songs that are low/high (please specificy) or are just good to listen/sing to for dysphoria.
No age is too young to start transitioning
No age is too old to start transitioning
