It was part of her daily routine, Mercedes knelt in front of the statue of Cethleann praying as she did every day to her patron saint. She heard the footsteps behind her but didn’t look up, not until she finished the prayer. It only took a few more moments.

“Seteth? Pardon I did not think anyone would be here at this time....” Her cheeks flushed lightly, when she spent time here it was always private, always meant to be personal between her and the saint. Clearing her throat she glanced away slightly. “Did you need me for something Professor?”
