“You --” There was a pause, when Newt had to forcibly remind himself that this was supposed to be happening. Theseus had said Percival would be arriving this week. ( Naturally Newt’s thoughts had been on other things and thus it had slipped his mind a bit. ) “You -- are here. Welcome to London,” he made the save rather unsmoothly but it was the thought that counted. There was no use making this man feel guilty about making Newt nervous for something that wasn’t his fault. Hopefully Percival would figure Newt was just naturally rather awkward around everyone ( which was true ) and not take too much offense at the misstep.
Well this was just great. Newt already disliked visiting his brother at the Ministry ( why would ANYONE want to work in an office? ) and now he felt like he was staring at Graves far more than was necessarily, especially for someone who hated eye contact. Truthfully it was more intense bouts of glances but it felt like staring. “Theseus is in a meeting -- but -- but I’m sure he will be out any minute.”

I gotta save up for a bit and get a computer that can handle AE before I can finish that, but one day... One day...

Pulled from an article in Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader, Golden Plunger Awards. Allegedly, these are some rules according to the Stetson Hat Company, circa 1868.
When to tip your hat:
If a woman thanks you
If you excuse yourself to a woman
When walking with a friend and he greets a woman you don’t know
After receiving directions from a stranger
When to remove the hat:
During the playing of the national anthem
During an introduction
When attending a funeral
When initiating a conversation
On entering a building (with the exception of that entrance being an elevator)
