Apparently, there’s a deleted Aladdin song (now used in the Broadway musical) that featured Aladdin and his three friends. Yeah, Aladdin had friends in an early draft. Wanda is TOTALLY the mother figure of the muppirates. Just being there for her friends when they wanna talk or have a shoulder to cry on.

Though, I love to think she’d especially be there for Polly when he had mild depression after his dad disowned him for being gay. I like to imagine her essentially being the mother figure he never had (his mom left when he was a fingerling) and assuring him that if someone wants to walk out of his life, let them cuz family isn’t about blood, it’s about love

And then Polly would hug her, sobbing his heart out while apologizing about how he’s being soft and Wanda tells him the same thing she once told Clueless “It’s okay to be soft”

The muppirates interacting is one of the purest things ever, man.

Like, I love their friendship even though it’s so brief or only for a joke.

I mean Calico calls Spotted Dick “Spotty” and Walleye and Clueless Morgan’s relationship is adorable!

Also if you pay attention to the scene where Mudwell is mourning for Dead Tom, you can both see and audibly hear him kiss Tom on the cheek and I CANNOT
