05.09.2016: California dreamin'
I can't wait to get back to my life. Each Delaware trip is a step in the past. We buried my brother's body yesterday. I seen him. I touched him. I told him I'd see him soon. He's a young soul; I know he'll be back around. I cried a little. I got to see people I haven't seen so long. Everyone asked me the same questions. Let's not. I plan on returning to work as soon as I get back. I have a house to decorate! Also, L will be done with her artwork so we can go back to being us or move forward to being a better us. Despite my absence, she says our workplace is shaping up to what it should be. I have a gang of new coffee drinks to roll out once I get back. Next step is to get my routine in order.

I enjoy being alone. The thought of being with someone for the rest of my life is daunting, yet so welcomed. I desire her.
She is I, and I am she.

I had the strangest dream last night. I forgave an old friend. I'm not sure why I forgave her. I guess I don't care anymore. The dream was a symbol of change. I've grown from then. I'd like to think that she has as well. She was different in the dream. I wasn't comfortable looking at her in the eyes, though. I forgave her, but couldn't trust her. It's an uneasy feeling. I wonder what it all really means?
