Having a preemie baby is hard, having premature twins is double the pain. As well as having all the normal feelings of having a baby in special care, you have it twice, and with twins they are a smaller weight to begin with. My twins were 4lb2oz and 4lb4oz. It’s taken special milk, extra hard work, longer nights, double the workload in every way. The worst feeling is leaving your babies, not being able to be there for their every need. Not being able to hold them for the first few days. Only being able to hold them for a limited time. Having a baby so small they can fit down your t-shirt without stretching it just to have skin to skin for 30mins before they needed to go back in the incubator. Seeing your beautiful just born baby in oxygen, tubes, ivs and not being able to take away the pain or make them better. It’s a difficult job, but one I took with strength and pride. I’m so pleased my little ones made it this far. Others didn’t. ♥️😍 . . . #momtruth #preemiemama #preemie #preemiebabies #7weeksearly #happiness #truth #life #kids #boy #girl #son #daughter #youngest #twins #twinning #nonidenticaltwins #boygirltwins #brother #sister #love #together #skintoskin #momlife #momlove #unconditionallove #perfect #growingup https://www.instagram.com/p/BnCYMoRlgrP/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1pvb93koqoskc
