Thursday July 18 2019 - Preface NYC Pop UP
Thursday we headed to Preface NYC in Manhattan. Preface NYC is a pop up event for designers and buyers to come see thousands of fabrics and new innovative designs from brands across the globe. They also have a section dedicated to vintage pop up from styles coming from @scoutla and @arcadeshops!
Upon arrival we were checked in and were provided with a free tote bag, free fabric scissors, and tape measurers which was very nice! They even had a coffee/tea station that they openly let us use! After checkin we got the chance to go around with the director of the program to every booth and learn about what they were about! After this we were able to go look on our own! My friend and I talked to the two guys from LA and learned a lot about the upcoming styles and trends that they are targeting at the moment. They also had fun drinks and snacks for our taking which was a nice bonus! The vintage clothes were my favorite thing to look at due to my love for vintage fashions! Overall, this was truly a great immersive experience where I learned a lot!
