Kat shows up to drop off a pair of cookie tins, one with about twice the volume of the other, and to say "Happy Christmas?"

Michael looks up from rolling out something, and smiles. “One tin for today, and another for tomorrow?” he teases, wiping his hands on a towel before moving to her and giving her a hug. “Happy Christmas to you too. How are the kids doing?”

Kat slips in with a plate full of cupcakes and a "Happy Hallowe'en, and happy birthday."

Michael slips into the kitchen for a midnight snack to find Kat’s note and goodies. He immediately grins, and looks at the cupcakes, looking for any clue other than the obvious chocolate. He takes the whole plate up to the bedroom, to be devoured in the overnight while he’s watching ‘scary’ movies.

I’m really getting tired of the people screaming about banning ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’. Do some research. Remember when it was written and it’s context. Understand it’s a cheeky call and response song, which even wikipedia can tell you.

While I get plenty pissy about how Emperor Constantine appropriated all the pagan customs when he converted the country to Christianity, I know the context. Learn the history of something before you start running your mouth about it lest you look the fool.

🍰what’s my muse’s guilty pleasure?

Mina doesn’t really understand the meaning of guilty pleasure. She enjoys what she enjoys and feels no guilt if it’s outside societal ‘norms’. But since I do, Mina’s guilty pleasure is watching the Titanic movie when she feels sad so she has a reason to cry. Or belting pop Christmas tunes while baking.

who buys the advent calendars? Michael might once for the kids

who places mistletoes all around the house? MICHAEL

who wraps the presents for other people? Both of them

who puts the final star/angel on the top of the christmas tree? Michael is taller, but I don’t think it matters to either of them. So it’s probably Michael lifting Victoria

who’s the one that hates eggnog? Not sure, Michael doesn’t love it, but he doesn’t hate it either

who’s the one that bakes christmas cookies for guests? Both. Kat makes her special ones, and Michael makes sugar cookies, and then everyone decorates them

who sends out the christmas cards? Michael

who knows all the words to twelve days of christmas? Both, though it’s rare to catch Michael actually singing it

who’s the better snowman builder? I’d say they’re both pretty good

who starts snowball fights? Michael, but Kat finishes it >:)

who’s the one that wakes the other on christmas morning by playing christmas songs really loudly? Neither. They’d be woken by the kids.

Kat drops off a box of chocolate chip cookies with a handmade birthday card on top of it.

Michael smiles, picking up the box and bringing it to the bedroom. “Anubis, you know dogs can’t have chocolate,” he says, giving him some ear scritches instead.
