#preffered names

Can I have some advice please? I don't like my given name and use a short form of it instead. I keep running into issues where people at work and in my personal life (like one or two people) will not call me by it or refuse to change it to my preferred name in my workplace.

So, do I just keep correcting them? Should I legally change it? I'm just getting frustrated at this point and upset.

Replacing random letters in random names is so fun because its like a shortcut to find names to experiment with when you're that type of person that likes having a lot of nicknames/preferred names
