Just to kind of add this to the pile here
I know and acknowledge BC is a workaholic, but I always kind of thought he might pace himself better once kids were in the picture.
Not to say he wouldn’t still work and travel and promote, just that he would try to spend more time in one place (ie. close to his ‘wife’/mother of his child, particularly for the next few years).
Of course, I don’t know him, so I never pictured him as the type of guy who would leave his partner to basically a single parent while he went off and did his thing.
I think he is going to be doing a lot of work in the uk, but... something about the awards show host gig kind of bugs me..... Thats what I’m talking about here.
Why do I still think it’s a PR stunt?
Because this entire relationship is a tool.
Before, of course, there were rumors about whether or not he was dating anyone (that was planted by PR, though), but all-in-all, he didn’t really talk about his personal life and it was all about his work.
This stunt has increased his fame. I mean, even bad publicity is good publicity.
What happens is, with this, theres always something to talk about.
How far along is SH?
Do they know the gender yet?
What will they name it?
How is the general health of the parents to be?
Are they excited? They must be!
Ect. Ect.
Now, why they chose this tool to develop, I don’t know.
Maybe they find it more in tune with the persona he currently has and that he wants to grow.
He wasn’t a household name before, so, he didn’t really have a public image... except with his fans.
He’s building one RIGHT NOW.
Family man.
Leading man.
She is still an important tool and, depending on how they want to end this, I wouldn’t be surprised if they have things like her possible past career in the wings, waiting to be slowly bottle fed to tabloids.
And they can use it however they want.
They can destroy her with it, or make her some sort of victim of circumstance.
Its all how you spin it. It could even add to their love story.

Depending on far along she is, my mom brought up that the baby may have turned around and stuck their butt out, if she is pregnant, and that may explain why she looks so huge in the 4 Seasons pap shots.
Benedict's a man who has people who have his back, even after this. He will be praised for his actions for not leaving his girl in the cold and SHE will get all the shit for lying to him. He will get some ("Ha ha you didn't have to marry her, dude") but not enough to ruin him.
