Preprismatoolithus
Preprismatoolithus is an egg genus from the Late Jurassic, shaped roughly spherical with a diameter of about 10 cm (lower left eggs in the picture above). Prior to the finding of embryonic material it was thought to be laid by ornithopods; however, since material in Portugal associated with the eggs have been attributed to theropods. The eggs themselves are known from what may have been a nesting ground.
