Went to lorwyn prerelease tonight!!
Went 3-1 with some silly little goblins! Rooftop percher may be a common but it was the goat (and every other creature type) I s2g, and taster of wares hit a counterspell one game (thank u king)
also also every time I played moonshadow and I had an evolving wilds available my opponent fell for it mwehehehe
I FINISHED THE PRINTS FOR THE SHOP! For now, I'm going to post the rough, traditional versions since I want to save the clean versions with text and borders for closer to the opening date. I will be releasing each rough print every few days so stay tuned if you want to preview all the rough prints!
These prints will be based around the cycle of the moon, how it connects to femininity (both traditional and alternative), witchcraft and what each phase represents.
Today, I am showing you the new moon print. This print was the one that actually changed the most when I was working digitally. It required the most touchups and changes so it looks quite a bit different in the final product, however the essence of the print has actually remained very similar! New moons are important for new beginnings. It can be compared to the start of spring after a long winter.
Any goth, witch or anyone who likes a mystical and slightly dark aesthetic will love these! I am also in the midst of digitally editing some AGATHA POSTERS so get ready for the rough prints of those to drop after these ones! (That's right, your fave mushroom sprite will be featured in this shop release)!
Random bit: Kol description inconsistency compared to the other characters on the site (Possibly either NB or intentionally ambiguous or two characters being treated as a single one perhaps?)
Saw a thread on the Steam forums about Kol in particular wondering if the were Nonbinary (as of this post, it’s not explicitly confirmed) or the possibility “They” could be plural in this case meaning both these characters being treated as a single character.
But also I’ve noticed how differently worded their character bio is compared to most of the others.
They’re the only one with their Monstie not listed separately compared to everyone else and we still know so little about them aside from the disappearing Canyne issue their tribe/village is facing and the description on theirs also seems to be a bit more generally marked towards being also a description of the Sheparden and Canynes/Palamutes as a whole (Wards is also used a bit more frequently as well instead of a singular “ward”)
For all we know it could be both or their identity being left ambiguous for us to interpret as we see fit as well.
I thought that was an interesting little thing to point out. What do yall think?
Why did I open the salami spindown?
