I'm gonna be honest that the "enthusiasm" voice that a lot of YouTubers use sounds more like screaming to me. This is especially an issue, I've noticed, with many in the edutainment sphere. I can tell that they're trying to speak with passion and authority, but it honestly just feels like I'm being yelled at by someone. The positivity that I assume is intended comes across more as anger and frustration.

It's like these people are trying to emulate LeVar Burton or Bill Nye, but they have absolutely no clue how those presentation performances work.

Oh, thank you!!  I still find it a bit surprising (but delightful!) when people enjoy my stats write-ups.  I know that a bunch of graphs and analysis is a tough sell, and eyes may glaze over.  I’ve been working a lot on my graph presentation and writing organization to try to make it easier to understand and more fun, but I’m never sure how I’m doing.

Which is to say -- thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed it!  And if you (solrosan, but also any of you readers) have ideas about how to be clearer/more enjoyable in future posts, please let me know.
