Finally, the Orange Lantern’s out of the White House. - - - #PresidentLexLuthor was elected in a 2000 #Superman storyline (and appointed #GeneralLane as his Secretary of Defense—yes, Lois’ father). He was removed from office in the first arc of #SupermanBatman in 2004 (which hardcover TPB I kept for years, but can’t seem to find tonight). So that was years before even the *last* time a malicious, incompetent Republican presidential administration peaced out, leaving behind a world-threatening mess to be cleaned up by an incoming ticket featuring Joe Biden. But I didn’t have an Instagram then (and Prez Lex wouldn’t get clixed until 2015), so you get the pictures now. - - - H/T @casualclixin for reminding me this figure existed. Most of the employees hurriedly made their way far away from the Mistress of Plants all of them knowing how dangerous she was at the best of times. She was grateful for it right then, her battle with Wonder Woman in Metropolis had drained her of most of her patience. Paying no heed to his secretary guarding his door, Ivy pushed open the door without a sound a trail of pheromones following her as she entered the room. "You could have warned me about the Wonder Whore I could run into." Ivy mused falling into the seat before his desk. "The company was destroyed and turned into a jungle as per your request. Some people escaped but most lie dead in the wreckage...." Ivy glanced at the paper with a smile, "but I assume you know that by now, Mr. Luthor." A dangerous smile spread over her face, licking her lips, her pheromones slowly working to fill the room.
