Nearly 53 species of mammals, 250 species of birds, 20 species of reptiles, and 11 species of amphibians call the Golden Gate National Parks home during some part of the year. In partnership with National Geographic, the National Park Service & the Presidio Trust, the Conservancy is hosting BioBlitz 2014 on March 28 & 29. BioBlitz is a 24-hour event in which volunteer scientists, families, students and teachers come together to find and identify as many species of plants, animals, microbes, fungi, and other organisms as possible. Join the fun & learn more.
