Well now. It says a lot when a prestige brand, one that many would associate with the sort of upper-crust demos that would maybe be somewhat right-leaning, takes a stance such as this.
But this is a case of making a brand move that is future-focused. In time, it could earn a better / broader range of potential customers while also divesting yourself of those who drag your brand equity down.
