CHRISTINE ROGER: Before I let you go celebrate, you were witness to a lot of Marie-Philip's achievements. This was an extremely difficult year for her, mentally, physically, she had to dig deep to stand here on her two feet today. Did she manage to surprise you yet again, being crowned playoff MVP, how do you react to that?
CAROLINE OUELLETTE: You know what's funny? After [the win], she reminded me that here, on this ice, was where she kneeled to hand me the last Clarkson Cup. And she told me, "It was when you were pregnant with Liv." You know, that was her first [thought]—I really wanted to win here, because that's where we won the last Clarkson Cup. You know, to think about that, it meant a lot. And yes, she's been through so much this year. A lot people could've thought that she wouldn't be able to come back, but if there's one person who could do it, it's her. No one saw how much effort she put in off the ice, to come back healthy enough to come back and be able to help us in many different ways, scoring big goals, blocking shots, be the best leader we could have, inspire confidence in the people around her. I am so happy to have been able to watch Marie-Philip win the Walter Cup.
