ASUS Announces Gong Yoo as Brand Ambassador for New ZenFone 4 Family

(TAIPEI, Taiwan, August 1, 2017) — ASUS today announced that the popular South Korean actor and entertainer Gong Yoo will be the ASUS brand ambassador in Asia-Pacific region — Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines — for the new ZenFone 4 family of smartphones.  This campaign marks the first time for Gong Yoo to serve as an international brand ambassador for a global technology company.

In addition to his very successful career as an actor in popular television dramas and films — such as Silenced (2011), Train to Busan (2016) and The Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016-2017) — Gong Yoo has also led a rewarding personal life as an avid explorer and pursuer of the best things this world has to offer. When it comes to selecting dramas or films, he is extremely careful and proactive about the roles he agrees to take. For him to select ASUS as his first global technology company where he will serve as an international brand ambassador reveals that he shares the passion expressed in the ASUS In Search of Incredible brand promise of pursuing incredible ideas and experiences.
