Upon hearing the other’s reassurance that he wasn’t committing any sort of theft, he took one of the amphibians into his hands gently. Upon balancing it in one of his palms, he caressed the frog with a finger. The pink-haired man looked absolutely pleased that he’s allowed to pet the little creature. 

He then lifted his head to be able to gaze at the young woman. Doppio extended his grasp forward to allow her the chance to be able to touch the frog too, if she so desires. The one in a pink sweater isn’t against sharing, after all.

Haemon was a man capable of masking most everything; his murder record, his involvement with the queen, the fact that said queen was plotting on taking over the world, the stench of decay— he was an expert at masking at hiding. It was almost second nature at this point.

But when it came to Mio things became blurred. Very blurred. One moment he had everything under wraps and the next he was staring at her with knitted brows and pink cheeks, looking uncharacteristically nervous. Say something. Say something. Say something quick—

“You look quite cute either way. Your glasses frame your face and fit you perfectly. Without them, you look different, but it’s a refreshing kind of different. Either way, your cheeks still look most pinch-able and kissable.”
