After nerve-wracking Pecha Kutcha's we were assigned into groups. I was placed in the events group which I feel I can defo use my skills to help in. I'm excited to help produce an event for the team and also nervous as I know it will be a lot of work.
I put myself forward to be a team leader because I know it will push me this term and challenge my skill set. I know I want to one day own my own business, so I want to see how I deal with an in charge role. I also feel that it might help me boost my confidence in my own ability and see how I can handle the pressure.
As an individual events group, we have to have a go at rebranding PXL LDN’s platform up against our class makes. This is before we collaborate an as a collective We began by going over the old dossier and reviews each section to see what we want to change and what we would like to maintain. I have assigned everyone a different section so that we could write up what we had discussed readily for the next day to review.
Over the weekend we produced mood boards for the branding of what we would like the rebranded PXL LDN to look like. We all agreed as a collective that the weakness of the platform was the branding and that it didn't reflect what they had written down.
I’m excited to see how our dossier comes out and fingers crossed our group gets chosen!
