'Myst III: Exile'
[VARIOUS] [AUSTRALIA] [MAGAZINE] [2001]
"Myst. The very name evokes a sense of intrigue, the anticipation that new discoveries will emerge from a shrouding haze. It is this sense of wonder that a talented creative team led by two brothers, Robyn and Rand Miller, managed to capture in a game that has now become a legend. Myst created a legacy beloved of fans worldwide. It also introduced a universe as significant to interactive entertainment as Star Wars is to cinema and Middle Earth is to literature. Imagine the honor and responsibility of being asked to create the next adventure in such a groundbreaking and cherished series. For us at Presto Studios, it has been almost overwhelming. Not simply because of what we are following, but also because of the expectation that a new Myst game must once again advance the art. For the last two years we have put our art, our heart, to this goal. There has been wonder and revelation, challenge and struggle, excitement and joy in the adventure of this creation. We hope you discover the same things playing it." ~Presto Studios, forward from the Myst III: Exile Offical Prima Guide.

Myst III: Exile (PC, 2001)
Gundam 0079: The War for Earth
Mobile Suit Gundam is one of the most influential anime series ever created, establishing many of the conventions of the mecha subgenre. In the forty-plus years of its existence, there have been dozens of series and spinoffs, but they generally boil down to political drama involving Earth and its space colonies, featuring a super powerful giant robot called a Gundam. Among the many, many video game tie-ins, one of the most unusual is this CD-ROM FMV title, a co-production between Japanese studio Bandai and American developer Presto Studios, the team behind The Journeyman Project titles. It was originally developed for the short-lived Apple Pippin platform, which Bandai was an ardent supporter of, but was also ported to Windows and Macintosh platforms, as well as the Japanese PlayStation.

Myst III: Exile
Despite how I may have felt about the individual zones, I enjoyed Myst 3. The settings were somewhat imaginative, and the puzzles mostly enjoyable. The star of it for me was the writing. Saavedro was a compelling and sympathetic antagonist, and his motivations felt like a logical extension of what we saw of Sirrus and Achenar.

'Verschollen in Der Zeit: Buried in Time'
[DOS / MAC] [GERMANY] [MAGAZINE] [1995]
"Published in 1995 by Sanctuary Woods, Buried in Time was a radical change from the original. It established Agent 5 (the player's character) as Gage Blackwood, which in the original Journeyman Project lacked basic personality features and even a name. It also featured greatly improved graphics and animation as well as many live-action sequences. The PC version was programmed entirely in C++ for improved performance. A PlayStation version was also prototyped, but was never released. As the story begins in the year 2318, six months after the events of the first game, Gage Blackwood (once again controlled by the player) is visited by himself from ten years in the future. Someone has framed the future Gage for tampering with historical artifacts and it is up to the past Gage to visit the past and find evidence to clear his name. Meanwhile, the Symbiotry of Peaceful Beings is deliberating on Earth's monopoly on time travel technology and this latest trial threatens to close down the Temporal Security Agency (TSA)." ~Wikipedia
