Review:

Another one that I have read over and over! Johnlock meets cheesy romantic Christmas film. If you love films like Love Actually, this one’s for you. The lovers meet when John is recently returned from Afghanistan and working as a Christmas elf. Sherlock is undercover investigating Santa and ends up inviting John along to his mum’s for Christmas. But there’s more: Sherlock will pay John to pretend to be his boyfriend. I’m a sucker for pretend relationship “oh look, we’ve actually gone and fallen in love!” fics and I love Christmas so this was always going to suck me in. Up until this fic, I’d never bothered reading AUs but once again earlgreytea68 lured me in! This is gloriously fluffy and with a hint of angst at times. Of course, you know we’re leading for a happy Christmas ending. I would happily this read again and again - even in the height of summer!

Summary: 

Stiles is (still) single when the pack's getaway to the Caribbean comes by (oh misplaced optimism); lucky for him Derek is committed to being uncommitted and even after all these years is still powerless against Stiles' unique forms of persuasion.

Cue a romantic getaway for two: sun, sand, and sarcasm abound...and the two roped into competing in the Resort's version of the Newlywed game. Only it's completely obvious it's going to end in disaster. Probably homicide.

“I’m not going to lose it Stiles, just give it to me.” Scott grabs it and starts reading it a confused look coming across his face. “So, uh.. does this mean Derek’s not going to make it to the wedding?” he asks looking back up at Stiles.
