Title: Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Christmas Spirit Author: SilentAuror Rating: Explicit Chapters: 1 Word count: 15, 002 AO3 description: "John hates Christmas. So does Sherlock, but he suggests that they do Christmas "properly" this year to see if they can't track down its elusive magic and discover for themselves what Christmas is supposed to be about." More fluff or more smut: so much Christmas fluff! My notes: friends to lovers, post-series 3, fluff My star (out of 5): 3 Review: A special seasonal rec for you to indulge in today! In this cute little story, Sherlock and John are back together post-series 3 with Mary living in America having taking the baby with her. Understandably, John is rather gloomy and it turns out he's never really enjoyed Christmas anyway. Sherlock decides they will investigate Christmas spirit together and do all the 'Christmassy' things they can - from baking to decorating to attending a carol service. As I'm sure you can imagine from that description, there is a lot of lovely seasonal fluff. SilentAuror's work is always so true to canon and carefully considered. This piece is no exception and I'm sure you will all enjoy the lovely moment on Westminster Bridge. Take some time out of the family festivities and head off to read this seasonal beauty.
